Dr. Yen-Ning Kuo is our Vice General Manager, bringing extensive expertise in chemical engineering, pharmaceutical development, and strategic leadership to our team.

Dr. Kuo's educational journey is rooted in excellence:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Tunghai University
- Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering, University of California, Irvine (2003) - Awarded a prestigious scholarship for his doctoral dissertation.
Work Experience
Dr. Kuo has made significant contributions throughout his career in the pharmaceutical industry:
- Currently serving as the COO of the Pharmaceutical Business Center at UBI Pharma Inc..
- His responsibilities encompass a wide spectrum, including product line planning, R&D management, marketing, sales, and distribution of our products.
Dr. Kuo's career with us began in 2005, starting with his work at UBIP's formulation R&D of peptide vaccine products and quality control methods.
- He took on the pivotal role of developing our first sterile injectable product for the U.S. market.
- During this development, Dr. Kuo played a vital role in enhancing our CMC (Chemistry, Manufacturing, and Controls) and quality systems to meet stringent U.S. and European standards.
- In 2013, his leadership resulted in UBI Pharma Inc. successfully obtaining the first product license from the U.S. for our sterile injectable product.
- Moreover, he cultivated a top-tier regulatory team experienced in U.S. licensure application for pharmaceuticals.
Notably, from the end of 2010 to 2011, Dr. Kuo expanded his horizons by joining Jiangsu Meide Biotech, a subsidiary of Vita Gnomics Inc. in China. In this role:
- He took charge of new drug development, product licensing, and strategic alliances in the Chinese market.
